Lawyers for Edwards is an organization dedicated to helping ensure that every adult American citizen is able to vote in the 2008 election and that every vote is counted. In America, we should all be able to vote without being harassed and without having to wait in lines for hours. We are determined to prevent the voter suppression that has marred the last two presidential elections.
We also will be involved in a variety of other areas, including: helping with ballot issues, coordinating with voter protection advocates, coordinating with members of the legal community, reviewing policy (of course, John Edwards and his policy team make all final policy decisions), and fundraising. Non-lawyers who are concerned about these issues are invited to join.
